HOW DOES IT WORK?

Alan knows how to make gardens. He has created well in excess of 1000. You know what you like and what your budget is. Together we can create a garden specifically for you.  

The key to all this is Alan's initial visit to your garden, where he explains that he has three "bosses". The first is you the client, the second is the property itself and the third is the location in which the property sits. Alan will explain how he designs your garden in the same way that historic house gardens have been designed for 350 years, carefully, intelligently and with good reason at each stage. 

With his vast experience to draw upon, you should find it a fascinating lesson in gardening know how, history and design. We hope that your appetite will be whetted as you realise just what can be achieved! We are Lincolnshire based Garden Designers offering UK wide garden design services. We’re sitting here now gazing upon our beautiful landscaped garden in anticipation of the coming summer - how different things were 12 months ago. 
After seeing the advert in the Village Link magazine we contacted Alan Mason to come round with ideas for landscaping our garden. Why is our service different?

It’s no exaggeration to say that Alan really is one of the top gardeners and designers in Europe, and so he will design your garden on-site. He will lay out ropes to show the position of beds and borders, paths and terraces. He will view the garden from your doors and windows, not from the comfort of his studio. This way, you will see a bespoke garden coming together on-site, rather than a virtual garden with computer or paper drawings leading you astray! 

You will be able to experience the excitement of being part of this process and realise why Alan does things the way he does. When it comes to the planting, Alan places each plant on the canvas he has helped to create. He describes what he does as "painting pictures with plants". There are not many garden designers that do things this way and it really does improve the process, giving you a first-hand view of a masterpiece being painted and allowing you to appreciate that it’s often the smaller touches that can make all the difference.
